Fractional product leadership
Senior product leadership embedded part-time in a company without the cost or commitment of making an immediate full-time hire.
Also known as: fractional Head of Product, fractional CPO, fractional product leader
A fractional product leader works inside the business for part of the week or for a defined period.
The work may include shaping strategy, improving prioritisation, running discovery, clarifying responsibilities and connecting strategy to delivery. Unlike an external adviser, the leader remains involved in real decisions and helps build a product function that can eventually operate without them.
