WFH
When work moved home, we lost something special. The hallway high-fives, lunches together, quick smiles across a desk and the shared buzz of a team in the same room. Even sticky Post-it notes were kind of fun!
But home expanded too. Time with kids stopped being just a rushed morning before school. Days opened up for exercise, learning and being present. The trade we never planned for gave us something work never could.
We lost some connection with teammates.
We gained deeper connection with our kids, our family and ourselves.
Two things can be true. And sometimes the thing we never asked for becomes the thing we're most grateful for.
