Product roadmap
A view of the product investments, problems or outcomes a team expects to work on over time.
Also known as: roadmap, product development roadmap
A product roadmap communicates where the product team expects to invest its time and why.
It may show customer problems, outcomes, strategic bets or larger pieces of work. It should help people understand direction and trade-offs without pretending every future item has a guaranteed delivery date.
A roadmap is not the strategy. It is one expression of the choices made through the strategy.
